Back to the home pageYour texts and their audio
The text you have read aloud is sent to our server, which computes the voice on our own machines: it is not passed on to any outside service.
What we keep, and for how long
- your email address, to sign in and receive your codes;
- your password, encrypted: nobody can read it, not even us;
- the texts you have read aloud and their audio, so you can listen again without waiting, until you delete them from your history;
- the number of characters read per day, for the daily limit;
- a log of sign-ins (date, device, IP address), kept for 90 days;
Your account is kept until you delete it. No data is sold or passed on, and the site sets no advertising or audience measurement cookies: only technical cookies are used for signing in and for the security of the forms.
Who is responsible for your data
LECTOR is a project of MD, its publisher and the party responsible for your data. To get in touch, use the contact form on md.lu. The md.lu privacy policy also applies.
LECTOR is hosted by IAV, which acts as a processor for hosting purposes only.
Delete your account
In “My account”, deleting the account immediately erases your account, your texts and their audio. You can also delete a single text from your history.
